heres some quirks ive noticed about american people, many have their own shopping bags in big cities, many supermarkets like publix deliver to ur house, americans have cheese for dessert (cheesecake), americans drink a whole lot of beer all the time PARTY TIMEEEE. and come on it took a french guy named jeff to convince u that french people dont hate america they hate out government when ive been telling u that all this time. glad to hear ur having fun, keep up the good work (p.s. HE CALLED U AMERICAN, u have to accept ur finally american now, uve been living here for 7 years YAYYY JOE WINS) ok bye

and it IS different when Geofrie tells me becasue a)he does the mike moss hair thing while he talks b) because he is french! he lives here and his friends are french and so he knows how the french think. but hey maybe by the time i get back you will have the mike moss thing down and then ill listen to you more ;)

it doesnt matter if u corrected him afterward the moral of the story is that he called u american.. thats gonna be a rough day for u, brazil vs. france.. have fun with that one. cheesecake sooo counts, and publix discontinued homeservice cause it cost too much money to keep running. im not gonna do the mike moss thing, cause i dont like his hair..and its not black with brown highlights. psh whateva whateva i still win. so what ur trying to tell us is, marina got some french boy action... congrats it only took a week, new international record i believe, joe is proud, very proud. of course i would have done it in 7 hours,but thats just me. maybe one day u can work up to my level..one day. peace.

wow i noe u wont be able to see this for a while but i glad its goig well. im having my first real out of casa experience right now too. its nice isnt it? anyway i am learning portuguese and its fun but the pronunciation is funny sometimes. my teacher sounds lik a drunk hispanic most of the time. o and u were right that sound is really hard the nao and pao thingie.

what type of program are you doing?

brazilian intensive portuguese at brown. it lasts four weeks and i have class mon-fri. and a humanities class three days a week.
