ok guys perspective real quick: the guy was flirting with you. i would never put my arm around a girl and kiss her on the forehead if i had a girlfriend.. like the arm around the waist is forgivable if it was brief like i do the arm around the waist but its not a persistent thing so, like my first question would be how long was the arm around the waist. i feel like a kiss on the forehead actually constitutes as flirting more than a kiss on the cheek. probably because we live in miami and everyone is used to being kissed on the cheek, but a forehead is more of a personal place.. thats just my perspective, although i feel like i can speak for more than a few guys. so really my question to you would be how long was the arm around the waist i think thats what the situation revolves around.. oh yeah how did you react to this btw? cause ur reaction may tell him whether to try again next time.

In my experience, guys like that want to have their cake and eat it too. This probably sounds awful but if you enjoy it then hey, there's no reason to stop, but if it makes you uncomfortable then I think you can communicate that in some way. There's no need to say anything because that could make the situation really awkward, but a sudden pulling away or ducking out should get the message across. So should mentionting the girlfriends name right after, that one is particularly effective, you could even say it jokingly like "now now, we don't want to give ______ the wrong impression" or "what would _____ think?" and just laugh.

lol you guys are so funny. he didnt kiss my forehead he like kissed my hair lol like the top of my head.. i dont really know how to explain it. i tensed up and stared at him when he did that but he just kept his hand around my waist like it was nothing. we were in an awkward position and there were three of us in the backseat, which is another reason why i was so iffy about whether it was flirting or not. i dont really like his girlfriend so i guess it shouldnt bother me as much as it did but whatever i hope he doesnt try it again.if he does ill just use one of carolinas killer lines.
