in chinese "to fall in love" is translated "to talk love" and i realized in portuguese to fall in love, is a reflexive verb like you do it to yourself. it translates to " i made myself love for you".
well i mean thats not the true definition of a reflexive verb. it can also mean i fell in love with you by my own doing, almost like saying i tripped over nothing, it still happened and there was nothing you could do to stop it. i like thinking about it that way better.. it allows me to believe in the illusion of fate... hey its better than believing in the illusion we have free will ;)
in portuguese its " eu me apaixonei por voce" so the direct translation is what i said, but yea ur right i mean nobody goes around brazil saying omg look at what you made me do to myself! or whatever and its definitely seen as something you have no real control over.
