Bobbie, I love this! And despite my place of residence, I am actually a skier, so feel free to hit me up for a ski consult (I am an advanced beginner, but Hub skis black, and we skied Jackson Hole in 2008, where the US ski team trains. I am intimately familiar with adult and kids' ski lessons). Johns is well placed - lots of Aussie/NZ ski instructors ply their trade at US ski resorts because it's summer in the Southern hemisphere! I wouldn't presume to offer beta, since y'alls are so impatient like that.

IRONY, DEFINITION OF: It's 3am and I'm giggling over this ridiculous thing and thinking, "You know, I really should have betas read these first, I'm just too impatient." And then I'm trying to think who the hell is awake at 3am. No one, of course -- unless they're on the other side of the world! And I'm seriously like, "Maria is maybe up... Jay would be. JAAAYY." And then I was struggling to remember what IM program I talk to you on (been so long, wtf, srsly??) and by then I'm just annoyed and IMPATIENT (you know me so well!) that I'm just like, "Oh, I'm just gonna post this."

TL;DR -- I thought of you. So you know what? You should actually like, help me. And teach me patience. And how to ski. ♥

I will totally have to use your inbox from time to time. Because really. Am I really that cocky (like Cook? LOL) that I think I can just put stuff out there? XD Anyway, yes. I should use betas more. I used to! I'm just prideful, LOL.

Hee, I'll run the next part by you before I post it, promise! :D

Seeing as I'm Norwegian, I should be a fabulous skier, but I hate everything about it lol. It's probably because I'm so bad at it haha.

Anyway, I love this AU setting. Even though Cook doesn't strike me as particularly sporty, this works. I can see him in his fancy ski clothes, tousled hair, a little bit sweaty and... unffffff.

Sorry, back to the story. I try to avoid wip's because I'm so impatient, and I'm always afraid they won't finish, but I couldn't resist this. You're just that good! ;D

Please please please update soon! I can't wait for their first encounter~

:D

I've been wanting to ask you: I have a Cookleta story going, and omg it's so scary with all these good writers. Would you be interested in looking it over and maybe give some pointers? I don't really know that many people in this fandom so I have no idea who to ask! And if you don't feel like it, do you know who I can ask?

It won't be for a while yet, it isn't finished. :)

LOL, but you're Norweeeegiaaan. It's in your blood! (Also, srsly, Norway's curling team -- can I just? For a second? PANTS. ♥)

I know, right? Cook totally isn't too sporty, but I'm glad this works for you. All for the reasons you described, of course. The tousled hair and pink cheeks and so on, hee! And I kind of fancy him a little cocky sometimes so I'm thinking he can be sexy in his snow pants and know it. I DON'T KNOW. What is wrong with me, really?

I'm totally with you on reading WIPs, ha ha! For the same reasons. It seems I tend to break the rules when I'm doing it myself though. Double standard! Don't people know that it's okay if I do it?? But while my other WIP (Angels) has no clear direction, be assured that this one kinda does so that's helpful maybe? *hopes*

ANYWAY, blah blah blah, thank you for your comments, gosh! I mean, any comment that's like, "I don't usually read these but it's you" are just, you know, make my heart go squashy and my brain go, "Oh damn it, I gotta step up now!" XD

I AM EXCITE.

Seriously, I love the premise of this story, and how sassy Carly is, and how cocky Cook is, and how LOLtastic Mike is, and just. This is looking really great. Idk much about skiing, but this sounds legit.

Starting a new WIP is never a bad idea! Love the set up of them being ski instructors and the banter between Cook, Carly, and Michael is hilarious. I cannot wait until Cook sees what his student looks like because, HELLO, it's Archie in all of his beautifulness. ;) More please! ♥

Oh there will be A Moment, do not deny. DO NOT DENY. :D

And thank you so much! This story is strangely more inspired than usual. I think those kids are taking over, as they sometimes do.
