Several times while reading I was like: no, I'm just gonna stop because I can't take this, and why torture myself? But oh, your writing is so good I couldn't help myself, even if I generally try to avoid fics like this.

This is so beautiful, fragile and strong at the same time, so full of heavy sadness and sweet memories. You paint a wonderful picture of a shared life coming to an end. It takes wisdom to be able to write something like this.

I really liked the ending, too.
