As if I just can't hate enough...

Remember in my post about Dimebag I rhetorically asked the question, "Seriously, what's next?" Well I found what was fucking next from that God forsaken midwestern state. Today I was watching CNN (yes, once again Ohio has been on the national news in a negative manner) and apparently students at two prominent high schools (St. Edwards and St. ( Read more... )

I went to St Ignatius, its a private all boys school, as is St. Edwards. Its probably just a few confused homophobic teens giving two openly gay kids trouble, it has nothing to do with them being from Ohio.

no no... interracial, like racism stuff, not homophobia. my point was that i just can't believe that other ohioans (and pennsylvanians) are sending hate mail to these schools because minority boys are involved with white girls. that's seriously messed up dude.

oh yeah, they are both CATHOLIC schools too, and how does god feel about homosexuals? Well Jesus hates them. Thats what these students are taught, no wonder their giving these kids trouble, its been hammered into their heads probably their whole life. Once again having nothing to do with ohio, but having to deal with the way that they were brought up.

i'm glad you realized that i was talking about race NOT sexual preference. :)

however i must say, it partly has to do with being from ohio because pretty much outside of cuyahoga county is "bible thumper" area. they are pretty backwoods in their beliefs. those types of people still believe that people should stick with their own skin color. it's bullshit, dude.

Every time I see something related to ethnic pride I just think to myself... why are you so proud? Who fucking cares!? I'm not proud to be white, or italian, or whatever. It's just how I turned out. No one asks to be born, shit just happens when you party naked.

Everyone needs to just smile more and live their own life instead of trying to fuck up the lives of others.

you couldn't have said it any better... people can't help the race they were born in and they can't help their preferences either. word!

ohhi thought you meant like an ig kid and eds kid were dating, ok different story.

what happened was that there were some pictures floating around of ed's and iggy kids with their white girlfriends... so someone decided they wanted to be ignorant and send racial hate messages with scathing threats to these students and schools.

like cnn said... one of the letters said "stay away from white women or we'll castrate you."

yeah fuuuuuuuuucked up. i'm not bashing on cleveland, rather i'm bashing on OTHER OHIOANS who feel that interracial dating should not be practiced. seriously, people just need to mind their buisness and not care who is dating who. like i said it's almost 2005, not 1955.

ohh got cha, yeah that sucks.

It does seem like youve been bashing cleveland allot on here, granted there are a nice amount of ignorant people in this town, but over all its pretty fucking awesome here. Theres a little bit of everything here no matter what your into. It seems like its the cool thing to do to hate on ohio as of late, and i dont get it, i think ive done pretty awesome for myself in this town and see myself going no where but up. Im making great money and have awesome friends, what else do you need? The scene here is kinda barely there, but im on the road all the time anyway with the band so that doesnt really matter. But i think clevelands a great place :)DONT HATE GIRL!

dude, i'm glad you are doing all those things there and you're happy with your life. :)

you're right it just doesn't go for cleveland.... it's everywhere. i've had many friends who moved across the country because they are discotent with their hometown and will bash it at any opportunity. i guess it's just human nature, haha. like i have a friend that moved from michigan to washington state because he couldn't stand being in michigan anymore and he hated it so much.

to each their own... to each their own happiness. ;)

you know im all for interacial relationships and i had no idea this was going on. i already deal with my dad and grandmother feeling like im going to get shot when i go to w104th and clifton to hang out with joey sensetive, they seriously believe that area is infested with bad culture. bullshit. i dont need fox news telling me where i can and cant go. age or not, they just dont understand the fact not not every single area (namely west park, clifton, CIA/case) is a horrible area in cleveland and i dont need their ignorance ruling my life. technically i live in a shit area because of the incidents that happen here, and we were always told that 105/superior and 72nd/st.claire are the worst areas. no.....those are safer than being here at CSU. just last night there was a brawl at peabodys and shots fired and i live right above peabodys at the dorms.

95% of ohioans ive met are worthless. the 5% that im not refering to are the ones who actually are worth keeping around.

ignorance is bliss. that should be the new state motto.

steve, you always manage to take words out my mouth and/or explicate things that i cannot find words for. thank you.

to quote you again... "some people are just denying that there is more going on than they want to accept." the people that voted for bush in that state are OBVIOUSLY denying the health care problem, unstable economy, the high unemployment rate and so on and so forth. apparently they rather PAY ATTENTION to interracial couples and send hate mail than the problems in their life. fuck them, fuck that.

p.s. why i make the assumption they were bush fanatics... again with the whole evangelical bible thumping mentality. besides anyone that knows bush's campaign history, he's been know to say some pretty racist stuff against his opponent... specifially referring to the 2000 elections and the mess he made with john mccain.
