1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? - I moved away about 6 hours from Ohio and to Washington, DC because I decided I was done bullshitting my life away. I wanted to grow up and experience the "real world."
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? - I promised myself I'd make myself a better person by moving away and getting credentials under my name. So yes, I kept them and of course I plan to make more... I have an idea, I just don't know what yet.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? - Umm, yeah I think my cousin had a baby girl.
4. Did anyone close to you die? - Yeah, and I will not talk about it here.
5. What countries did you visit? - I stayed in the country.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? - More money is always a huge help, haha. I guess that goes without saying though.
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? - I don't remember dates at all. I just remember things happening though.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? - Moving to DC, all of my political participation and having the best (mock) Senatorial race for my class project in the spring semester.
9. What was your biggest failure? - The fall semester... I'm going to average a C. Considering I got straight A's in the spring, I'm fucking furious.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? - Yes, it's just that I had raging sinus problems all of fall semester. Basically a combination of health problems and hating my classes, I didn't do to well in these past few months.
11. What was the best thing you bought? - My digital camera, woo hoo... haha.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? - I don't know, a lot of shit going down... ha.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? - I won't even fucking get into it again. I've already many posts in the past expressing my discontent and hatred for many of things.
14. Where did most of your money go? - The METRO, rent, food and traveling to New York.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? - My boyfriend visiting me almost every week. I STILL get stoked as shit to see him even though I practically see him every few days.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder? - Way happier.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? - Hmmm, I dunno... I did a lot this year, more than I ever had in my life.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? - Procrastinating!
20. How will you be spending Christmas? - With my mom and the boyfriend & family. :)
20. How will you be spending New Years? - Probably chillin in a living room cuddled up in a blanket with the boy.

24. What was your favorite TV program? - The Daily Show, hahahhaha!
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? - HAHAHA... "I just can't hate enough."
26. What was the best book you read? - I haven't read anything for lesiure because of all the shit with school, but I'd have to go with "End of Blackness." I have many criticisms about it, HOWEVER, the idea behind it is excellent. It's a love or hate kind of book, and I would say I'm actually in between the two.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? - Killer Mike... ATL REPRESENT!
28. What did you want and got? - Pretty much everything I want/need in my life... 1) I got out of Ohio and ended up in DC. 2) I got several jobs in politics. 3) I have an amazing significant other.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? - National Treasure... but have yet to see Ray, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Garden State.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? - I turned 22... I hung out with the boy and we went out to dinner and walked around the DC monuments. I also hung out with Chris from CT!
32. What one thing that would have made your year? - Well, I really can't complain about anything other than the shitty fall semester.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? - Working/political seminars... like I stepped out of a Banana Republic catalog. When at school... jeans, hoody and running shoes (the usual, you know).
34. What kept you sane? - Knowing that I was far away from the bullshit that I left behind because I knew no matter how bad things would get, it would be better than living back in Ohio still... and of course my significant other keeps me in check. :)
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? - HAHHA... where can I start? I get called boy crazy all the time! No really though, Jake Gyllenhaal is the hot shit!
36. What political issue stirred you the most? - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH... OH CHRIST. Anyway, just go back and read the COUNTLESS posts I've made in this thing. Everything stirred me!
37. Who did you miss? - My mom and friends... all who I can't see because of school and work. :(

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004. - 1) Do not hold back because fear and trepidation of what may or may not happen. 2) It's not how smart you are, or how good your grades are... experience, who you know and a charming attitude will get you good jobs and far in the career world. 3) School is overrated. ;)
