Hello there!
Once upon a very hot summer day, a desperate meow was heard from a shed. Whose shed was that and why the meows were coming from there was unknown, but obvious was one thing: the meows were desperate. Without much thinking, the shed's door was broken and it unveiled a tiny little kitten, not even one month old... anyone's heart would break at this kind of sight. It's scary to imagine what a heartless jerk would close a little kitten in a dark and cold shed, but the kitten wanted food and wanted his mother's warmth, who, no one knows where was.
Of course the kitten was immediately fed and aw'ed from everywhere, but what to do next? Put him into the dark shed again? Leave him on the streets? But he was so tiny, he could barely walk. It was obvious that the kitten just recently opened his eyes, that how tiny he was. Normally, kittens stay with their mother for two months, yet this poor fellow opened his eyes and it's not even sure, that he even saw his mother. To leave him on the streets would do even more harm, than to close him in the shed. The chickens could stab him to death thinking he was some food or whatever. The kitten wouldn't survive long like that.
What to do? The thought of just leaving him be and to the rest of your life to know that somewhere a tiny little kitten could have been saved, yet was not - was unimaginable. Yet, and sadly, some people are heartless and simply don't care if a tiny little kitten simply would die. Yes,the society can not save all the abandon animals, but those who are close to you, at least help them to survive... but, our society is fucked. That's just sad. But one person can make a difference. And at least one kitten can be saved.
Especially when the kitten is such a playful cutie. He was happy to be put outside out of the dark and cold shed and to play around in the sunshine, yet still, where will he go next? At such moments you don't think straight and just do anything to come up with something. And so, something was done.
Even though, at first the idea was met with a lot of disagreements and no-nos, but hey, look at that fellow! Can any human being resist that kind of cuteness. Heartless selfish people - yes, but those who do have even a little bit of heart - they can't resist. And so, this fellow got a place to stay at least for a few months, until he grows a little bit older and stronger to survive on the streets. His food would be provided for a couple of weeks and no special care needed, just a place where he can stay, even if it's only for a little bit.
But... yep, nobody can resist such cuteness! And even those, who were 110% against a cat in the house, now were: "Hey, i won't finish this so give this to the kitten to eat!" From a big "NO" and "only for a little bit" to "omg he is so cute" and "what do you think would he like to eat meat or fish today?" The little fellow became a loved member of the family, who was always cuddled, got even a whole bed to sleep in, was greatly fed and loved. The kitten won everyone's hearts basically in a day, and if he would be late home, a whole search warrant is send to look for him!
To tell the truth, the feeling of seeing such a tiny being, that can actually fit into your palm, sleep so peacefully in your lap and knowing, that now he won't have to spend another night hungry and scared in a dark shed - is beyond words. It's wonderful.
The kitten got a name in honor of the world's most beautiful and fattest cat - Ricky. Now he is around 3 months old, very naughty, very fat, and very loved.
The End.
