[Have a hardly moving sleeping Xander facedown in his pillow. Moving is not an option now, because that requires energy he doesn't have and could elicit some vomiting even.]

[Anya wakes up under Xander's arm and blinks a little.] Xander [She pokes his side.] Xander, wake up.

[Xander hardly moves at the poking, and lets out a hardly intelligible noise. It would take more than just a poke to wake him from this slumber.]

Xander! Wake up! [The poking has turned into shaking.]

[That was enough to get Xander to wake up, and he turns his head to see who is disturbing his slumber.] Ahn?

[nomorevengeance]

[Finally. Anya frowns at him anxiously.]

You wouldn't wake up. And I don't know how we got here.

[callmesgtfury]

[Xander looked up and raised an eyebrow.] ...Where is here? ..and.. Ow. I think.. drinking was involved, because.. I feel... [He didn't finish the sentence because, good lord he hurt.]

I don't know either. And I think so too. My mouth seems strangely fuzzy, and Xander!

[She holds up her hand with a wedding ring on it.]

Did we get married and no one told me?

[Xander was too busy staring at Anya's hand to really have much of anything to say. Oh, and blinking every once in a while with his good eye.]

Xander!

[Anya shakes him again.]

Please say something!

[callmesgtfury]

[Xander blinks again.] ...I don't.. I ... uh.. [He pauses and looks at the ring intently.] I don't remember.

Me neither! There's a big gap in my memory with a blazing hole in the center that's called "How we got these rings!"

These ring.. [He stopped and looked down at his hand.] These rings. ...we both have a ring. That's.. [He paused and studied his ring.] Did we?

[nomorevengeance]

[She looks kind of annoyed now. It's not like she's got any clue either, though.]

Clearly, I didn't marry you for your quick wits. If I married you at all. At least you didn't walk out before the ceremony could be completed this time.

[Great, this argument, and a hangover. Today was a gooood day.]

Sorry. Hard to be quick on my feet, my brain feels kind of like it wants to leap out of my head.

[He looked around the room for the pile of clothes, that might have some sort of answer.] ...if we got married wouldn't we have a ..marriage certificate or something?

I don't know!

[She does feel sort of bad about the remark. Anya has somehow managed to evade the horrors of a hangover, though her mouth tastes gross and she's definitely not sure what happened the night before. But Xander doesn't look like he's doing well, so she squeezes his arm, which isn't really an apology, but it is Xander so maybe he'll understand.]

I mean, maybe? I'd think so, but I checked and my bra's missing, so who knows what else we may have misplaced?
