Very cool! Only quibble I'd have would be British vs American chat shows (JRoss pwns) but otherwise, agreed on all counts! :D

Really interesting picspam, especially because I love a lot of both American and British shows!

And yeah, I totally agree that anything with the word "poofs" in its title (in reference to a person) is not going to go over well in the US!

Its why I had to make it :) I'm bi-televisual, I could be tri-televisual since I did watch Neighbours for a while... hmm... Twas a lot of fun to make because of it though!

The poofs are so adorable all the same :) And thanks for the comment :D

Very interesting idea! I also like UK's The Office cause they can get away with much dirtier humor.

Although I don't think anyone in the Friends cast has much of a movie career these days. Jennifer Aniston is the only one who's close and even she hasn't had a hit in a while.

they do get away with it rather beautifully, they also take their jokes a tiny bit further too which I enjoy (much more awkward :D) - great example simply being the stapler

And true but Courtney Cox did have a good go with Scream (which is awesome) and Matthew Perry had 17 Again (not so awesome) so not saying they do have film careers just small ones :) (Ok Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow havent tried it yet but meh...)

AWESOME PICSPAM. SERIOUSLY ITS AMA-ZING.

I know people always pick The Office UK over The Office US but I can't. I just hated hated hated David brent so much I started to not like the show. Eveyrtime he would say something I would roll my eyes. Whereas Micheal is just so incredibly stupid in the first few seasons, you hated him but he kinda made up for it in the end of every episode. Also, like you said, a lot more secondary characters in US version than in the UK version (I can't imagine Office without Angela, Kelly, Oscar etc.). However, the writers of the Office UK has a completely brilliant and original idea so you have to give them props for that.

And Skins! and OC! Skins definitely wins (but it does hurt me to say that since seasons 1 & 2 of the OC were flawless). Series 4 of Skins was definitely out there (I can't belive there's not going to be any more Cookie monster ;___; ) but it was still miles better than Season 3 & 4 of the OC (I know everyone loves S4 but I hated it). Skins has introduced us to like quadruple the ( ... )

AHAHAHAH THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ;D

I dont know, I like the UK version because you hated David Brent, made it refreshing when suddenly the layers peeled away to reveal a really weak man and suddenly you felt bad for hating him (or maybe that's just me, but the last episode of series 2 where he got fired had me weeping). And thats something special, crying over a character you don't even particularly like (I cried over characters in the US version too though :D But I liked them... Jim and Pam, all the time, every time... damn them...).

And YES! OC ROCKED the first two series! THANK YOU! I stopped watching after the third, it was a little depressing. And I will miss the Cookie Monster as well BUT there will be the chance to meet some even more awesome characters... ... oh who are we kidding? There'll never be anyone to fill that gap of awesome. Pah. Pah to it all.
Still excited for it though.

thanks again!

Yessss to all of these. :D ITA with your choices.

Especially the OC vs Skins. I watched the OC with my mom when I was around twelve, but it just absolutely cannot compare to Skins G1. The second season of Skins is probably my favorite season of any TV show, ever.

This is a great spam. Really unique and a great read. Thanks so much for sharing and for all the work you put into it. <33
