I keep forgetting you have PCOS. It sucks! I'm on attempt #2078289472 to lose weight. I've been at WW for 4 months... barely lost 20 pounds (but I haven't been as strict.) I'm going to try again soon. We're in this together.
I recently got off birth control just to see if anything would be different. I am not as depressed/moody! I got my period 3x on the regular, but now it hasn't come :( I'm not pregnant though. I'm gonna see what happens. I really don't want to go back on birth control. If I can't get pregnant cuz of PCOS, what's the point of birth control anyway, besides regulating periods? (Which if now they're doing Seasonique where people get their periods 4x a year... idk idkkkkk.)
Oh yeah after not being on bc and then being back on it I was a hella moody also a complete drop in any sexual impulse but I guess 'what happens when testosterone isn't winning haha.
yeah idk for a while i was weighing close to 195 and wasn't getting one but then i dropped to 185 maybe 180 and bam! regular periods, idk I've been on NuvaRing since January I ran out this May but had it refilled but I wanna see if it comes on its own in June, if not well just go back on and continue to drop some pounds. My problem is I love eating and sitting around lol. I've never been less than 165 and that was my freshman year in high school when I was swimming every day on the team so I figure that's a healthy weight, not necessarily statistically but its a weight I'm comfortable with
That too. While off birth control, I can pinpoint exactly when estrogen is winning, it's like it's own cycle, it just makes no sense, especially if a period isn't coming, but changes are happening anyway?
I want to try the ring!
My lowest was 195 but that lasted like a few weeks, haha. I'm 5'7. Have never been skinny. I'm trying to get back under 200 (I gained a ton of weight in a year in a half) and then hopefully I won't quit and gain it all back. I'd like to be healty. I'd like my periods to come. I'd like to never be on birth control.
I like eating too :( and also not moving. I'm just so tired a lot, lack of sleep and energy. Which apparently is a side effect of PCOS? It's like, the disease to keep you fat I swear.
pretty much plus the prediabetes isn't that much fun I should probably follow a diabetic diet but that's not fun, I have really good blood sugar though just have a hard time losing weight.
I'm tired of the excess hair though, as if genetics wasn't already working against me lol
