I'm stuck at the computer because my knee is swollen to the size of a small moon (it's fine, I just twisted it again on the way home from town and twisting it twice in as may days is Very. Silly.) and I'm bored out of my mind. Therefore, meme.

1: Dean knows he is a terrible liar. He is an amazing con, can convince a stranger of anything, but he's never been able to lie to people he cares about. (Superatural)
2: They loved each other once, but their eyes have avoided each other for too long and their seemingly casual touches hide a betrayal one of them cannot quite forget. (Merlin)
3: The first year without Arthur was never the worst. Time did not dull his absence, nor did ease the memories. Each year without Arthur was exactly as bad as the first and Merlin could never quite forgive him for getting to die when he was cursed to live through the ages alone. (Merlin)
4: With Arthur's head in his lap and his friends blood coating his hands, Merlin still could not bring himself to regret helping the child Mordred had once been. (Merlin)
5: Jacob has been told that the definition of insanity is to repeat the same action over and over and expect a different result. (Twilight)
6: Mitchell is warm. It's not often that George gets to touch Mitchell's bare skin, but the few occasions on which he has, he's noticed Mitchell's skin is warm. (Being Human)

8: The creatures were charging Arthur, swords brandished and literally red-eyed with rage. They were clearly amateurs and it was the work of a second for him to dispatch one with a blow to the head, cutting the second deeply across the stomach. Ignoring the Doctor's desperate cries, Merlin tripped the last two, using his power to bind them to the floor before wandering over to Arthur. (Merlin/Narnia/Doctor Who/Real World)
