Irritating person (hereafter shortened to IP): DON'T YOU KNOW BREAST IS BEST!

IP: I MEANT BREAST FEEDING!

Me: (looking at the child I'm bottle feeding) Oh yes, that is the slogan.

IP: ALL BABIES SHOULD BE BREASTFED OR THEY'LL DIE

What gets me about this entry is that you could have been the child's mother. Quite easily. How horrible that they seemed to think it was their right as a prefect stranger to make you feel awful about a legitimate choice.

Not only that, but as far as they know you could have been bottle-feeding that child breast milk expressed for the purpose of a baby-sitter.

Well done on using the iPhone, but I feel that I have to point out that the notorious damn-you-iPhone autocorrect managed to alter this post so that it made it look like you were writing about breasts, and there's even a mention of penis in there earlier. :-p

Even if unintended, that is a superb comeback to the opening line of the conversation.

Did other people in the cafe overhear this conversation? I hope so, because this person deserves public humiliation.
