While this goes very well for my situation, I happen to know an artist and a writer and this song goes for their situation, too. The first chorus says, "paint a picture with the ink of our demise," while the second chorus reads, "Fill the pages with the ink of our demise." See? An artist and a writer. To ME, these words represent my divorce papers. To them, these words may represent their favorite hobby. No matter how it's interpreted, the song is quite a suckerpunch to the heart if you listen to it in just the right mood. Conversely, it's ALWAYS good to find a song that relates well to your situation in life. It's often-times very therapeutic to sing about pain because you get things off your chest.
