Biography:

Coming from a family of three, Keiko was an only child and therefore she was a spoiled one. Her family wasn't necessarily rich, but they were comfortable. Also being spoiled, they taught Keiko the value of what she was brought into, how to use her manners and how to be grateful for what she was privileged to. She had gone to a special all girls middle and high school, though she actually enjoyed it. Perhaps because many of the girls that went there were much like her, unsure about what they wanted to do with themselves, but not too afraid to have fun in figuring it out.

When Keiko graduated she took a year off to backpack through Europe with her dad. It was something he had always wanted to do and Keiko demanded she be taken with him, so he obviously had no choice but to take her along. Keiko had never had more fun. Actually, she had met her first love there. They were in London and it was pouring. She had gotten separated from her father because of the crowds, but they had devised a plan to meet back at the hotel if they ever got split up. Because of the rain and how everything looked so much alike, Keiko had a hard time figuring out where the hotel was. She finally ran into a boy, his name was Chase, at the London Bridge. Keiko was just sitting on the sidewalk, soaking wet and looking incredibly afraid. She could speak English, but only enough, at the time, to get by.

After he helped her up and helped figure out the name of the hotel she and her father were staying, he helped her back. Come to find out the next place they were supposed to visit, he was going, so he offered them a ride. Keiko was ecstatic and her father some what pleased considering he didn't have to pay for another train ticket. She ended up being taught better English than what she could have ever learned in a book. When they had to part ways, they promised to keep in touch, and they did. Keiko still hears from him nowadays, but the spark is gone. They're mostly just friends now. Keiko calls him her first love because he gave her her first kiss.

After their bonding through Europe, Keiko had to make a decision. Though she still wasn't sure what she wanted, nor was putting pressure on her helping. She wanted to go to college, she knew that, her parents wanted that. Unfortunately, the hard part was deciding which one. Having always wanted to be part of the Sorority life, Keiko heard of Greek Yonsei and the curriculum wasn't bad either. She found the perfect opportunity to have fun and figure things out.

As a freshman, she was excited for there was so much to choose from. Rumors were always and would always be rumors, so choosing a Sorority was never based on that. Or, that's what she kept telling herself. Truth was, she was really interested in Kappa Delta because it was more her comfort zone. Coming from an all girls school, it wasn't hard to relate to them because she could tell all the girls were close.

With much thinking, Keiko finally made the decision to go with another choice. Because Kappa Delta was her comfort, to decide and make a choice for something that wasn't was a hard choice. Usually, in her experience at least, hard choices were rewarded somehow. Though it's not a life or death choice, it was still hard to leave your comfort. Having noticed the Zeta Tau Alphas, her curiosity peaked. They were fun, they were different and they were possibly what she was looking for...

She's been with her sisters ever since.

Personality:

Distant, blunt, stylish, classy. Keiko is all this and more, though at first glance, most likely what comes to mind is money. Always Keiko is dressed in the best clothing, her hair is always styled, her skin is flawless, even without make up and the way she presents herself in a simple walk proves it all. Though it was her status in the family. As the first born, regardless she wasn't a male, she was still required to do the tasks of the first born.

If there was one true word to describe Keiko, it'd have to be stubbornness. She has gotten into so much trouble because of this, yet at the same time, she got herself out of situations because of it. Keiko always felt that she had to prove herself and to some extent, she still does. Her family expects so much of her and she feels that other people do as well. Always with a feeling of others judging her, she keeps up her demeanor.

Of course, this is just what she presents to others. Once she feels safe and secure, Keiko turns into a completely different person. She laughs, plays, talks, etc. She's still blunt and stubborn as well as stylish, but she is more aware of her company and their feelings. Once you're befriended, you get to see the side that Keiko hides. A side that is unseen by even her family. Though keep in mind that you're only given one chance. If she is betrayed by you in some way, you're pretty much an enemy for life.

With it being her second year here, she has calmed down a lot. Especially with the joining of ZTA. Her personality is much the same but it's not impossible to gain her trust. Fact is, you don't even really need her trust to get her to smile and have a good time anymore. She's willing to remain off a schedule and be spontaneous, but that doesn't mean she will let you in.
