it's copperbadge's birthday, and as always, he has something thinky to say about it, which got me thinking about stuff... My birthday's on Friday. I'm going to be 24, and I'm in my sixth year of work on my Associate's Degree. And usually, I'm ok with that

I'm almost 29, and I'm a broke, ambitionless high-school dropout. You're doing pretty damn well for yourself.

you have tons of ambition. just not traditional ambition. look at all the plans you have for your movie/crafting/writing ventures. those are pretty damn ambitious.

but, you also for the most part seem satisfied with where you are in life. my main point was that I haven't found that level of satisfaction/enjoyment yet, and I really hope to, but I worry I won't.

Hmm. Fair enough. I tend to be pretty happy as long as I'm creating SOMETHING.

I think you'll get there, though. Just focus on trying to figure out what it is you need to be that content.
