Thoughts on Eureka, half way through season 2

So, I started watching Eureka, mostly because I know at some point Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day show up. I'm half way through season two, and they haven't yet. I'm still deciding if I like the show.

Felicia and Whil show up in Season 4. I've become addicted to this show, despite its flaws. Spencer...Spencer...I don't remember Spencer. Which one was he?

He was Henry's assistant in the first season. He was the one who diverted a satellite so he, Fargo, Taggert, and Jo could watch an unreleased movie and they all started thinking they were being attacked?

Oh, HIM! Yeah, come to think of it, I remember wondering that when he stopped appearing. He hasn't shown back up, but I think I vaguely recall some offhanded comment or other about him moving away.

I've now gotten to the Nathan and Allison's wedding episode, and I was going to say that now their relationship was getting tiresome, but then they killed him and it was almost sad. I'm sad that it wasn't all the way sad. Also, good god, is there any tv show that doesn't have a Ground Hog's Day episode? I feel like they're just going down a check list of cliche episode tropes... Which, I'll admit, I've planned to do with storylines myself, but I was planning to do it ironically!

No one's mentioned Spencer since season one yet.
