You're not to blame, in no way. Your mother was murdered. The only one to blame is the person who did this to her.
But I know how it feels. Even if you don't want to, you're always thinking "what if". What if I'd done this, or not done that. The rational part of your mind is telling you that you're not to blame, and it's no use thinking those things. But some part of you just goes on and on with it. I guess the only solution to that is not let those "what if"'s get to you too much.
