Did you know that you were born the Saturday before Mother's Day in 1978?? on the hottest day of the year to that point---104 degrees!!

sounds like you take after me when giving birth!! I had the same "I've really got to go" moment and had Ray get me on the bed pan with Andy. I remember thinking I had to go, when this voice--kinds behind me on the right said very clearly,that's the baby's head get off that pan. the nurse can in got me on he cart and on to the birthing able, and was putting drapes on me saying (Sound familiar??) Don't push!!! I said I'm not puuuuusshing. the other nurse said to the doc. If you want to be here don't bother washing your hands, and with one push Andy was born.
Now, if you can only skip that breaking water 5 weeks part!! great narration I love your writing! Yours and Adam's both (should that be 'your's and Adam's both??) the computer doesn't seem to think so.
