HtB got the Postcard of Disappointment from the job he applied for. We were both really hoping for this one. I know there's a great job out there for him somewhere, but it's not fun to have to wait for it

*hugs* to HtB. FWIW, I'm job hunting with no success. "It's the economy!" It's really bad out there. Please tell him from me that it's NOT his fault, that lots of good people are not getting jobs because there ARE no jobs - that's why there is an Occupy movement! And I have faith in him that he's going to use that Hufflepuff hard work and keep trying and get a GREAT job soon! And then we can throw a (virtual) par-tay! And yes, he'll be on my pray list!

Please let me know what a Gardein Turk'y tastes like. I've only ever eaten the real McCoy for Christmas. Are you having pie? After all these years, I still giggle whenever I eat pumpkin pie! H/Hr has ruined THAT for me. :D

Thanks very much for the hope - I needed a good dose of it right now! I know that if we all keep our heads up things will get better; we are every bit as good as all those Disney heroines, and it works for them, right? :D

I'll definitely report back on the turk'y. And yes, pie! But we usually have pecan and cherry, since cherry is HtB's favorite. I have this really yummy recipe for a pear pie (just like apple but with pears). Maybe I'll do that one this year.
