I was scared off for a long time with the set up of a boy becoming an assassin's apprentice and having to save the kingdom. But it stands on it's own legs and I can honestly say that I really like the maincharacter, even though he is an assassin.

I was glad I actuallt picked it up and I am starting to read the first book of the following three books now. I am also going to try her liveship-series this summer.
