Rec me!

Well, beautiful day.  And where am I?  Inside.  Doing commission work.  My butt-print is permanently embedded in this chair.  (It's a miracle I don't have the flattest ass on the planet, I swear.)
Will be here for the forseeable future too, and I'm sick to death of all my music.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Good music you like listening to?

Well I know we often have different tastes in music, but here goes. Recently I've been listening to Johnny Clegg-an African musician, Goo Goo Dolls, Hevia-a Spanish new age bagpiper, and the soundtrack to Tangled. Good luck not being bored!

We didn't? I thought we did, mostly.
Granted, when I remember rooming with you guys the first thing that comes to mind is MST3K, video games, Billy Connolly, anime, and dressing up like a gorilla; but I have a few music-related memories.
Wasn't there that time when we blasted the soundtrack of Pirates of the Caribbean and Laura beat the crap out of you with a ruler?
HEH HEH.
That and the time you left me locked out of the room overnight because I didn't change the CD in my player for like a month so the same song woke us up every day and you learned to turn it off with your remote since we had the same radio?
Or that Celtic/African song you showed me Weclome to.... something, god I cannot remember! that I really liked and lost when my old computer crapped out and now can't find because you don't recall it AT ALL ( ... )

I guess I was thinking mostly of Raamstagen and the fact that I hated it. But yea we did have some in common.
Are you thinking of Glasgow welcomes Nelson Mandela? Cause it was Laura who showed us that, and I have the mp3 if you want it.
OMG Global Spirit! I thought that got stolen!! Yes I want it! lol
In all fairness, Laura may have been winning the majority of the night, but if I remember correctly it was HER that was bleeding at the end of the battle, not me. :P

HAHAHAHAHA I forgot all about the radio!!! Oh man, good times good times.
What's your email address, I'll send you my snail mail address.

And anyways, I only showed you that to pester you. Lol And anyways, I didn't play it all that often.

Glasgow welcomes Nelson Mandela!!
HA! That's it!!!
...O.o;; How the heck did you figure that out?

Oh, so YOU drew first blood. I knew it was you and her somehow.

I STOLE IT. Bwa ha ha.
(J/K you lent it to me to burn and I put it in with my stuff and forgot it was there for like, what, four years now? ^.^;;;)
I'll text you my e-mail. I'm tired of getting spam and such in my inbox, so I try not to post it anywhere.

Wow, that is right up the Pendulum alley, isn't it?
Oh god, did they just start off the song with a fwaping sound?
They did, didn't they? HAHAHAHA! I can't even begin to imagine what my neighbors would do if I had my speakers turned up and this came up as the next song in the queue while I was in the bathroom or something. Lol!
I like the overall sound of the group. I'll have to poke around in some more stuff by them, thanks. XP

So... just because I enjoy pushing music on people.... I've got Super Junior going right now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adVV-lgBgIg (This is Super Junior M a subgroup, it's all very complicated and I haven't quite gotten it down... I just learned of this group.

At the very least, they are very pretty to look at and I adore the one in the Most Ridiculous (cunning even....)Hat ever.

In the realm of Propane Nightmares (in that there is music and they sing in English, there is) Mumford & Sons, which I bought on iTunes but I hear they aren't to everyone's taste... very Maroon 5, IMO. And there's Scouting for Girls, which my friend has found entertaining but as of yet, I haven't. So. There ya go.

It's your fault I'm reading Nightlife instead of doing homework. Your Fault.

Wow. The song is nice, but look at his haaaat. ::stare::
I cannot stop watching.
Suddenly I have the strangest urge to comb my hair from back to front and dance through my apartment sideways. XD

Mumford & Sons... huh. Actually, I kinda like it. I've only listened to the Lion song, but this feels like one of those groups where it will grow on me a little more every time I listen to them. That happens to me occasionally, like with OK GO's 'Hello, My Treacherous Friends.'

HAHAHAHAHAHA-- I mean, shame on you, procrastinating. My fault?! How dare you imply such a thing, heathen.
You know what I have to say to that?
FORK YOU.

Shiny Toy Guns: That music video is pretty sweet!

The Hush Sound: Hm! I like this. I wasn't sure at first, but it's growing on me the more I listen to it.

Muse: Mmm Muse. They're like the Decemberists. You're never really in the mood for them, until it comes on your playlist set to random and you're like, oh yeah! I like these guys, I remember now.

Voltaire: Where the heck have I heard this song before?? 0.o

Abney Park: I'd heard of these guys before and passed them up without investigating real deep, cuz they seemed kinda generic to me. I didn't realize they were steampunk. I'll have to give them a go.

The Rasmus: Ooo, I like! This song kinda reminds me of Whispers in the Dark by Skillet, which I also like, so it's good. XD ( ... )

Wait, what? Did you mean to post something different in that first link?

Ohhh My Chemical Romance! Some of my friends are into them. One of them played me some lullaby song (called Helena I think) on his piano and it was really beautiful. XD

Sankyuu!
