I had to put Sandstone to sleep on 02/28; he had been a little - I thought- irked at me for going to Disneyland for 3 nights and so was ignoring me. He was actually suffering from Feline Infectious Peritonitis and when I took him into the emergency vet hospital they diagnosed him and said there was nothing they could do for him except make him ( Read more... )

Aw. I'm so sorry. How old was Sandstone?

Having been through it a couple of times, it's very very hard to go through. Even when all logic says putting your friend to sleep is the right thing to do.

Ray, I'm so sorry! I hate the empty hole that is left when they're gone.

Is it turning into spring down there? Not that I'm sure what spring passes for down there, mind. It's been absolutely beautiful up here with temps in the high 30s. We've had a noticeable lack of snow up by us, though and it's looking to be another dry year. We could really use some rain.

We are hitting the 70s in the day but the sun feels hotter than that.

Rain we've actually been getting.
