Having been through it a couple of times, it's very very hard to go through. Even when all logic says putting your friend to sleep is the right thing to do.

Is it turning into spring down there? Not that I'm sure what spring passes for down there, mind. It's been absolutely beautiful up here with temps in the high 30s. We've had a noticeable lack of snow up by us, though and it's looking to be another dry year. We could really use some rain.
