Woo-hoo! Something to do at work!

(OMG I <3 CLARINET. It shouldn't affect the tone toooo much if you go ahead and put your lower hand in position during the Bb (if you're going up, that is) and then you've only got the left hand to worry about. In fact, it actually helped my tone a lot, too, since stupid Bbs always sound so freakin' breathy...)

And now you're a band instructor? You're, like... my hero.

*squee* and I'm not the only one playing through SoM? I love that game...

Thanks for the advice! And yes, teaching at a pre-K - 8 Catholic school and MS is chorus and band.

SoM is one of my all-time favorite games!!

It's awesome you've got a school to teach at there. Are you enjoying the students?

SoM is one of the greatest games ever. Have you ever played Secret of Evermore? It's somewhat similar but a bit more... wacky, I guess. Was created for the SNES. Illusion of Gaia (another SNES game) was another great one.

Wow... now I'm getting awfully nostalgic for a good old SNES...

I loved Illusion of Gaia too! (I...umm... still have my old Illusion of Gaia t-shirt somewhere in a box around here....)

and no, never played Secret of Evermore...

And yes, mostly - but my principal drives me a little nuts now and then.

Oh my god I <3 Mika Nakashima. I actually got into her music because I found out Mika Arisaka did back-up on one of her songs, so I guess that makes Mika my lucky musician name or something? Anyways, if you like Mika Nakashima's voice, try Mika Arisaka, too. Mika Arisaka's style is very different, way more R&B/soul or something, but their voices have a very similar beauty to them.

Anyways, if you end up at Anime Boston, maek sure you post! I'll be there all weekend! (I don't fit in my Ryuichi blouse anymore, but I might be persuaded to bust out one of my Gaara cosplays in between my Soul Eater and Hitman Reborn ^_^ )
