girl, I am so proud of you! You are really determined to exercise and change your eating habits. That takesalot of disciple and I can tell you have it. I am very glad to hear your first 5K was a success. It is certainly motivation to do more. I wish some of your good habits would rub off on me.

Hey, you can start training too. I am going to Mass some time in June for my nieces graduation and am going to see if there are any races in the area.

www.coolrunning.com go to the bigginers area. There is a training program called couch to 5k there. Very easy to do. Maybe once you get the medical stuff out of the way you can join in on the fun. The endorphins are wild. They have helped me out with the PMS bipolar thing I have going. :) My husband loves it.

Just get to a treadmill girl. You can run for a minute, any one can.
Just pace yourself, run at a low setting. I started at about 3.8 on the treadmill.

Make sure you have some good music on your MP3 and you are good to go.

YAY YOU!!!! I am so proud of you. I wish I could have been there with you, but too many other things got in the way. I am doing the Outback Distance Classic 12K on the 24th, though.. there's a 3K also... maybe we could actually meet one of these days???? :)

I was looking at doing that run. I am doing one on the 17th in winterpark. One of my friends that works at Universal invited me there for Mardi gras. That guy Taylor from American Idol will be there that day.

I don't know if I can run and than be able to do Universal and than stand at a concert for 3 hours. To tell you the truth I would rather run. :)

I do hope we get to meet, eventually. :)
