My mom was visiting me for the past 3 weeks which was great. I wish she had stayed longer but on the other hand I also wanted her to leave. Let me explain

As someone who has had gynecological problems for most of my adult life, I feel your pain. I had a cyst the size of a walnut on my left ovary in 2000 and it burst one day while I was out at a work reunion. Not pleasant. I was bleeding mid cycle a lot while I was on varying birth control pills. It wasn't until 2001 that I was diagnosed with PCOS - no fibroids or endometriosis. Just hang in there the best that you can and if you find that you're still in pain, still bleeding mid cycle, etc. I would suggest finding an excellent gyno. ::hugs::
Thank you so much for sharing that with me. I am at my wits end right now. Although I have not had excruciating pain that I can't handle I am having the regular menstrual cramping, just at a higher pain level than normal. The break through bleeding is even worse. It feels like my uterus is boiling/burning. :(
I am still trying to find a good gyn, have a couple of recommendations from friends at the hospital I work at. If I was back in Boston I would have been seeing the Chief OB/GYN of the hospital I worked at.
I looked up PCOS, what a pain in the butt that must be. No real treatment, just treat the symptoms. Are you having much problems with PCOS these days?
oh sweetie, hang in there. Let's take things one step at a time. Maybe this is the time to search around for a gyno that you feel comfortable with. Baby steps. *big hugs*
Thanks :) It's what I have been doing. My next step is to find a GYN, which I am doing and than having a repeat ultrasound. The crying has stopped thank god. :)
