proper sunday chillout
Today was a reward for yesterday's office torture - I woke up at 7am to a beautiful morning drowning in sunshine and headed of to meet brokenbeast for a luxurious breakfast in a posh hotel in the heart of the town...he is in Austria for work and it turned out that our circles of friends weirdly meet here, what a small world!

We said bye to the carnival in a spectacular way! I think I may be still a bit drunk ... I have not much recollection of when and how did we get home, all I know is that we had so much fun! whoah I've just ahd a biggest and nicest Monday lunch ever...Southern Italians know how to enjoy their food and they take time to take it too.They close everything for 3 hours and come back home to eat, drink, discuss life, laugh, then they do siesta and they maybe go back to work. I left work yesterday at 5pm on the dot because I couldn't take the office anymore and all I wanted is to get home and hide under a duvet with a cup of lemon tea and a book. But then I missed my bus. I am not used to buses here because I usually have the comfort of driving the car.

I must say today has been one of the most pleasant days so far this year, even when it was actually Monday. Mondays usually suck but this one starting from no-pressure no-stress day at work due to my boss being away and finishing with a fantastic night out followed by a tasty spliff on the sofa was a blast....I haven't danced that much in a long ( Read more... ) -
