Glamour Doll Eyes Review: Part II

Feb 23, 2011 15:39

I received my second order from Glamour Doll Eyes yesterday morning, and yet again I am quite impressed. I ordered the shadow tower, two full sized eye-lights and a sample eye-light. This is my story, dun dun!

Bruised looks reeeeally nice, and I'm not usually into much sparkle. So many tempting colours you have...
I don't wear blue eyeshadow because it tends to make me look like a whore.
This is me with most eyeshadow. T.T

It really is gorgeous. It's not too overly sparkly either. It's quite toned down compared to some of the other colours I have. I'd recommend it.

It's pretty easy to make make-up look terrible. I know, I did it for years. It's all about finding the right colours for your eye and skin colours. Then you are set.

Sadly I think the right colours for my eyes include 'subtle' and 'dark' and that's it. Which is very sad because I really wish I could pull off hideosly bright colours. D:

You could always add a touch of bright colour, say to the corner of your eye near the tear duct. Just for a little bit of pop, and blend it out with your more subtle colours. That way you still have a little bit of bright and pretty on while still looking sane. I say just play with a few things. Don't give up on bright colours yet! :)

I thought the exact same thing but it's a brilliant colour because you can pack it on and it looks really, really vibrantly blue and you can smudge/buff it out until it is the palest of navy blues. If ever I was going to recommend a blue it would be this one and it's only $6!
