That's rather sweet. I have something for her that I was planning on dropping off the next time I went out for a swim. One of my regular customers keeps carving these little wooden fish and giving them to me. Mind if I came by tomorrow and gave them to Riku?

Yeah. Seven. ...It won't be long before I don't know what to do with her. I left home when my little sister was eight or nine... I feel like I've got a good handle on Riku for now, but...teenage years? Puberty? I'll be in over my head.

It is. She's been talking since then. Not a chatterbox by any means, but...talking. I asked her why, and she said it's because she's not a little girl anymore.

She'll love it, I'm sure.

Maybe. They don't exactly live close, so unless they move to the capital... Though I think, if nothing else, I know a few girls that could help explain some of it.

Yeah. And it won't bother me at all if she stays a quiet girl....but I admit I'm glad. I get to learn more about her this way.

She doesn't. At least, not that I know of. Though I did notice one of my blank sketchbooks went missing...she most likely took it, but she seems to like drawing so I don't imagine she'd be writing in it...
