You are stranded on a deserted island, what is your first instinct? Do you create a signal for help, build a shelter, collect food...?

Help, of course. There's no sense wasting energy and resources exploring survival means unless you're quite certain that help isn't arriving anytime soon.

Well, yeah. But I guess the first thing I'd do is try to get off. Wouldn't think about long-term supplies unless I had to.

Appreciate the scenery, of course. Deserted islands would be so pretty, without buildings and people to mess them up. Places like that are so rare and kind of hard to access if you don't have a private jet or a helicopter or something of the sort. But places like that - pure, beautiful, untainted... I'd definitely look around first, then maybe look for help... depending on the island and the time of year, I might just stay there. ♥

I don't think any sort of beautiful scenery - even really cool beaches - would be all that great without someone to share them with, An-san. I can't imagine staying all alone on a deserted island. You wouldn't even have anyone to turn to just to remark, "Gee, it sure is beautiful." :X
