I enjoy hand sewing, it's peaceful for me. But I swear it's slowing choking the life out of my hands. My hands pretty much always have calluses on them. Hehe.
The first time I flipped Noodles inside out to look at him closely, I couldn't believe it--the seams were way too neat and precise for machine, and the whole internal structure was fantastically put together. You are an incredible sewer (tailor? seamstress?)!
ooops, I rambled off. What I was going to say was that I had the same problem when I worked at a job that involved a lot of carboard-handling...what worked best for me was thin rubber gloves (like cleaning gloves) that weren't stiff or thick enough to interfere with my work. Disposable latex gloves worked, too, but you burn through those really quick. :-3
