Napoli was pretty much LA. The first towering urban buildings we have seen. It was dirty. We had an interesting, brief conversation about the US government with some French Napolitans who asked us questions, and who didn't speak English. Thumbs up, thumbs down is universal. Tonight is our last night in Barcelona. It's been good, I haven't taken a shower in about four days, and i've been eating way too much bread. We are about to leave Lisboa. It is nice here, but not as nice as Madrid. We are about to go back there to catch a train to Cordoba. We saw our first castle here, which was a good first castle for a castle visiting virgin. We are in Madrid and we are killing time at an internet cafe. Tonight we are taking a train to Lisbon; 10 hours. Our flight here (and everything in between) was a bitch, but some how the food was excellent (probably because it was an Irish airline...we went from the US to Dublin and then Madrid.) Tomorrow night is my last day in San Diego before I leave for Europe.
