The Horcrux thing was a really good idea.

I was actually happy with the whole Snape being a double agent. I thought it was a good twist, although I would have rather Harry had been wrong about him.

I was proud of Draco, believe it or not. For once he showed he actually cared about people other than himself by trying to save his mother and father. I was also glad he didn't kill Dumbledor.

I was happy the Fleur stayed with Bill even if she is a major bitch. At least she's really in love with him. I thought the comment about the British overcooking their meat was funny.

The Inferi were scary.

However, most of the book seemed to be a little below standards. It really picked up in the last 150 pages. I hope the next book is really past paced.

man... i agree about that last point... i kind of crawled through the book when i had a chance, but tonight, well, i stayed up until 2:30 to finish it... i also think Harry's the other Horcrux... i just can't see how the 7th's going to go, he's so inexperienced... and i was really suprised at the Half Blood Prince, too, but i should have gotten that. more from me later, when you guys say more.
