reminder to self

I'd like to think I can limit snarky answers to obvious questions to my friends, who will probably let it go even if they don't find my snark funny. However, life has proven that I do very dumb things. I am socially inept and therefore sometimes say utterly inappropriate things. yeah, definitely not the right response. trust me when i know how tempting a statement like that is, but saying it to prospective employers is not the way to go, because then they'll wonder what you might say about them in the future. your best bet is to talk about teaching philosophy, and then if in the future you become close with one of your coworkers then you can use that line with them.

My most recent round of interviewing had me dancing some fine lines when talking about previous employers. :-P

I bet! IMHO, your previous employers were just as bad as mine, only in different ways! Yours were awful when it came to your injury; when I was injured on the job the principal was willing to do whatever they needed to for me. Fortunately, my injury was minor and I was back the next day -- nothing like yours!
