Ok.... so I say every year that I will not get into American Idol. And I succeed.... for about the first week.
I can't help it!! I just see singers and personalities that I like and then I get drawn into it really fast. It's like a drug.
It's rather embarrassing, I know, but it's my guilty pleasure haha.

Picked My College!
Officially going to the University of California: Santa Barbara.
I'm so so excited; it's really quite gorgeous in Santa Barbara, the UCSB campus is beautiful, and I shouldn't get too homesick seeing as it's only about five hours away and the setting is similar to Santa Cruz, what with the beach and weather. Band Recommendation
So I just found this new band called The Script. They're a pretty talented trio from Ireland. I just bought their debut album; it's got some really cool and clever beats to it, and their songs are really catchy.

Movie of the Weekend.
Watched Milk last night. Amazing movie. Sean Penn was just incredible. Like seriously, he can transform into anybody he wants. I was just completely absorbed into his portrayal of Harvey Milk. Really, really good. No wonder he won Best Actor for the role.

Heading off to San Francisco for the weekend to check out SF State and Sonoma, and then later on in the week going to Santa Barbara for UCSB. It's weird to think that pretty soon I'll be going to one of these universities! I'm really excited, but a little nervous too. I mean, it's gonna be so different.
