Yarn + cats = modern art.

As long as you don't mind sometimes unwinding it through various items of furniture, your cats won't hurt your yarn (much).

Interestingly enough, mine do that very rarely. More often, they simply seem to feel the need to relocate it. Buttercream brings skeins to the ballwinder. Jasper brings balls of yarn to me. Buttercream has been known to push yarn off tables onto the floor when I annoy him. He doesn't *want* it. He makes sure I see him do it. He stalks off with an offended air afterward. He's just expressing annoyance.

Interesting. I'm just now experiencing cats and yarn together, but they seem to be leaving everything alone when it's on my desk. It's just when I'm knitting and it's dangling for them to see that they become VERY interested.
