So Uncle Sam is sending me two FAT checks any day, now, and I talked about finances with me mom. We've agreed that giving her my state tax return to help with household expenses is fair, and she's letting me keep my federal return. ...Which amounted to over $500. Each time I've gone to Sam Ash (in Marlton I THINK... there's a Guitar Center right next to it...I don't remember because I haven't driven there myself), the older guy has given me a sweet deal on my guitars. I know we were talking about bass selection (and how much the selection sucks!) last time we hung out so I don't know if they'll have what you want... but I mean they should, right?

Both my acoustic and my electric I got for under $200...and my electric is an Ibanez. I'm not an expert on instruments, but I've *heard* Ibanez was good, so I went for it. This included straps, cases, picks, extra sets of strings, etc. so I think I got a pretty good price! You should take trip there and give it a shot, it can't hurt.

In other random comment news: Semester's almost over so I'll finally be able to sit down and work on your tattoo art. :)

That would be in Cherry Hill, babe... As in, directly next to the Cherry Hill Mall. I know the Guitar Center won't have what I'm looking for, because their acoustic collection sucks. ^.^ But Smash had an upright for a while that was only like $800, I think. ...Might be wrong, though. I'll head over soon as the monies come in.

I dunno... As faithful as I am to Ibanez for their Bass line, I'm none too fond of their guitars. They're known for thin necks, which is awesome on Cardinal cause I've got some fast action with it. ...But guitars are already too small for my hands. ^.^* But I can def see the advantage in your case. And yes, the starter packs are a good deal by definition. Sides. ^.~ It's how you play it, not what you play on.

Haha... my directional sense isn't quite right sometimes... hence me getting lost almost every time we hang out and you watching me drive by your house (and chuckling at me I'm sure) while you're trying to tell me where it is on the phone :P

I HATE Guitar Center :x They're way overpriced and yeah, they just don't have anything.
