Well, Bill North classes, while wholly amazingful and splendiferous, are rather a lot of reading. Mostly primary sources, and the discussions are good. But it is an awful lot to read (or try to read...)
Plus, his other classes next year are quite worthwhile--Bede/Papacy & Empire (2 5-week courses, same time, different halves) in winter term are interesting, and the Byzantine history course he'll be offering next spring is also amazing.
That said, you could always drop your other history class.
Well, like I said, I can't drop my other History class because it's for my area of primary concentration, and when it comes right down to it, of far more interest to me. And I read all about the courses he's teaching next year, but I'm not really that enthusiastic about them. I like better the ones he has taught/is teaching this year. I'm sure they are cool, but all history is cool.
The thing is, simply speaking as another person who has done the overloading thing, this sounds like a not very good idea. Classes are fun, and good, but if you have plans on doing anything not classes and not socializing, then you'll have problems.
I do love Bill North, and think the class would be awesome (as a matter of fact, I've seriously considered taking it every time he's offered it), but it does seem like a bad idea. I'd say drop the film class myself, but, well, I'm biased in these matters. ;)
