NCIS: Gibbs in particular & how he's written in Fanfiction
WARNING: There are episode spoilers. If no one has seen them, please do so soon.
I've been reading A LOT of fanfiction like crazy [To take my mind off of my pain...]
I've found a pattern:
Gibbs in the show has been in at least 4 explosions that a lot of us authors sometimes forget.
JAG episode:
Meltdown= Gibbs is trying to avoid blowing up at end of episode, and gets knocked down the metal staircase of the ship he was on, when the suspect blows himself up. Gibbs suffered a headache/concussion, but continued his job.
NCIS background:
During Hiatus Pt 1, Gibbs is blown up on a Turkish merchant ship during a case. We learn in either Pt 1 or 2 that he was blown up in his last tour of the Marine Corps. He loses his memory.
The other explosion happened during the episode "Kill Screen", though he wasn't hurt much.
/end thought-process.
I just thought people would like to think about it. To tell the truth, I love those fics I've read, and have told most of the authors that I did.
