In which I blither about stuff

This weekend was my first Hogsmeade weekend with fast internet, and it made such a difference. Everything is so much quicker and easier to do when you don't have to wait for twenty minutes to download it. I even bought sigtags for people, because I could actually get all the images to load in the catalogues. It's like a whole new world of possibilities has opened up to me - I can't wait for the next Tourney of the Hand!

I really need to try to get over my whole DO ALL THE THINGS mentality though, otherwise one day they'll find me dead at my laptop, mouse clutched in my hand and a half-completed activity or tourney entry on the screen XD

I thought about volunteering to be a mod at westerosorting - it's such an awesome place and I'd love to be able to help out and give something back - but I can't give up the tourneys. I just... love them too much. Activities and competitions make me happy :)

I'm about as far from being a Lannister as I could possibly be - the only house I'm less like is probably Greyjoy - but I really want to be a Lannister now! The desire to wander around quoting random bits of the song is overwhelming :)

I've been feeling really tired for the past few months. Yeah, yeah, chronic fatigue syndrome, 'fatigue' is right there in the name, but before that it seemed like I might be starting to get a bit better, so getting worse again was a bit discouraging. Otoh, today I feel almost like a normal person for once, so maybe things will start improving again. Of course, now that I've said that I've probably jinxed myself, but still... *crosses fingers*

illness, fandom: asoiaf, westerosorting, hogwarts is home
