Sorry all my entries lately have been marked private, they are all totally neurotic analyzations of my life right now. These days, there are almost no moments where I feel the buzz I get from being in a crowded room. I feel good, sure, but not great. There's some joy barrier I hit and can't hop over at the moment. Joy Barrier could be an album. I don't know what it would sound like, but I think it would be good.

Joy Barrier is already probably a Joy Division tribute cover band several times over, but I agree it would make a really interesting album concept, too.

I can't take credit for that one! The subject line is ripped straight from the current music song by Los Campesinos! All their lyrics are that clever, and despite how it sounds, they're terribly cheerful. In fact, I think they are easily my favorite band of 2008.
