Weird how reassuring the cat thing is, no? John and I were gone over the weekend to Victoria, and we left Embers in the house with two food bowls and four water bowls. I worked at home this morning, and despite being left alone for a relatively short time this weekend and today, he's still so clingy - like meowing-at-the-bathroom-door-while-I'm-trying-to-take-a-pee-for-god's-sake clingy. Poor buddycat.
But yes: reassuring.
What's your breakfast burrito recipe? I've been thinking of making these lately, so I'm curious about personal recommendations.
Karon got a recipe off the internets that supposedly makes a months worth(snicker, laugh) It actually yields between two and three weeks worth if you want something that qualifies as a breakfast. I suppose if we put enough extra crap in it then ya know it might be a months worth, but that hasn't happened yet
( ... )
For individual portions, I do two eggs, a handful of diced ham, then after cooking sprinkle on the cheese, fold up the burrito, and microwave it enough to melt the cheese and warm the tortilla.
The first time we tried it we ran out of filling before using up the recommended number of tortillas, so I'd recommend adding more eggs and other ingredients like a can of diced tomatoes for volume.
