The Usual

Making an entry once in a while might not be so bad. The thing is I don't actually have a very exciting life at the moment, so all I can write about is fangirling. :) I have twitter now, although I don't really post it doesn't make any sense to me. I mean why let other people know about the trivial things I do? It's just not my thing. So I try my ( Read more... )

I forgot so much of my Japanese, it's scary. I also live in the constant fear that I lose some of my English (well, not the everyday stuff and neither the grammar but the tech stuff) *sigh*

I'm also kind of addicted to AAA at the moment

ME TOO! I think they're totally underrated :(

I thought about getting a Twitter account but I don't know what I'd write. I barely manage a LJ entry every two or three weeks. On the other hand, sometimes I stumble upon things that I'd love to let people know about but then I forget about it. Also, I don't like making one or two liner LJ-entries. I dunno, I'm still thinking about the Twitter thing...

If you're not constantly using specific vocabulary I think it is almost guaranteed that you'll loose some of it. I don't think I will ever loose the ability to understand and read the everyday stuff in english, since that language is somehow burned into my brain, it is my second german, so to say. :) But japanese...it's such a different matter. It's not like you can go and just read a book or visit a website in japanese and just enjoy it like in english. No, you have to be on the lookout for Kanji and for me, I'm always forgetting stuff I already studied before. It's just so tiring and I'm more of "I'll give up" person when I see too many things I don't understand or feel like I'm not making any progress at all ( ... )
