Oh my. Words cannot describe how I feel right now.

What a beautiful story!! It leaves me with a fuzzy feeling and warmth inside. I really admire you for capturing so precisely Will's personality and Rachel's as well.

This is how I have been imagining their relationship to be: supportive, caring, understanding, and the underlying sexual tension. I love the way you build up piece by piece every moment of their friendship, so that when they eventually confronted each other in the choir room, I sighed and thought "Finally! It's about time!!"

Thank you for writing this fic! Have to read it again. Also, courtesy to proofpudding.

p.s. I strongly think there should be a song-list for this fic. It's about Will and Rachel after all.:D

Icon love!!!

Thank you so much! I absolutely adore how almost-codependent they are, and how sweet and supportive they can be with each other, and I want them to be *friends*, and still kind of fucked up, and, and! They are so my OTP. Thanks so much for reading! <3

And yes, proofpudding is awesome. That vid kept me going through the writing of this.

And hee, song list! When I went back and read it, I realized that I had subconsciously picked very appropriate song titles for each scene -- "Anything Goes" when she's talking to Puck? :D

They are my OTP too!

I really enjoy they being friends because they could understand each other like nobody else, and they do admire one another but are too proud to admit it sometimes. (I'm convinced they actually adore each other.) Their relationship has the potential to blossom into something grand, and I'm waiting for that moment to click.

Yea, when Puck and Rachel are talking, there is "Anything Goes." See! You incorporating songs into every scene! What a great job you've done.:D

I am no longer capapble of words... wistfulwatcher May 13 2010, 09:46:36 UTC
...but I'll try anyway. That was perfect. Absolutely the perfect fic for this pairing. I cannot thank you enough for tapping into every little thing I wanted to see in a Ruester fic. I love the pace of this, for starters. It seemed completely naturally and unrushed. Both Will and Rachel stayed in character the entire time, and thank you so much for keeping Rachel a three dimensional character, which you don't often see in Rachel fics.

I love that you let their friendship develop first, and looked at Rachel's mindset for an attraction to a teacher. I also really appreciate you having Rachel point out his song choice (Oh, Will...) and I loved her reaction to Quinn being comforted by Will. I don't dislike Quinn, exactly, but it should always be Rachel. I have said something along the lines of her thoughts to my roommate every time there is a Will/Quinn moment.

Thank you again so much for such a phenomenal fic!

Thank you so much! This is a lovely comment, and I really appreciate it. I wanted it to build slowly, and I worked really hard on Rachel's voice, so I'm very glad it worked for you!

And hee, I LOVE Quinn/Will, but yes, Will/Rachel is my OTP. :D

Thank you again!

That is a perfect description of the show. It veers so wildly between those two modes -- sometimes within the same *scene* -- that it's absolutely maddening.

And thank you so much! I wanted to combine the fact that wow, this relationship is a terrible idea that could only happen because Will and Rachel are both profoundly fucked up, but also, that there's a genuine sympathy and compatability between them -- which makes the both the attraction and the fucked-up-ness all the more intense. I am so glad that came across, and thank you again!

Oh, I really loved this - the slow progression from teacher/student to something more was wonderfully done, and your Rachel was absolutely in character.

Hope you write more of this paoring :-)

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you appreciated the Rachel-voice -- my betas helped me a lot there. :) And Will/Rachel are my OTP, so the problem is that I don't want to STOP writing them! :D

Thank you so much! I love Will/Rachel -- they are totally my Glee OTP. :)

Also, icon! :D They're not my OTP, but I love Will/Quinn, too.

Will/Rachel is rapidly becoming my OTP of Glee. Even though its incredibly wrong.

I love Will/Quinn too, but almost as friends, not as anything more? There's this fantastic story on FanFiction which I can no longer find, but it was about her moving in with him and them raising her daughter together, but not in a sexual relationship. Its just so good.

The icon is BRILLIANT. I don't know how to link, but goddesspharo made it.
