Decision

Well here I am again after a month absence again, and I am going to have to make a strong decision here whether I continue on with this journal or retire it. I have always enjoyed Livejournal, but I really do struggle to find myself posting these days. I don't know what happened to LJ in the past year. My flist is almost dead and to be honest, I don't feel like updating myself. It's a trend all around. I blame facebook!

I have been on LiveJournal since 2003 and originally, I started it as a public blog to keep in touch with friends and let them know what was happening on my side of the world. Since then, my username has changed twice, my motivation to maintain the journal has changed too many times to count, and I have taken many, long-term breaks.

Both times that I had my username changed, it was because I was in a place like you are now. The place had changed for me so dramatically that the name no longer reflected the reality of the journal.

Whatever you decide, I've enjoyed reading you. I don't get too fussed when people take breaks or even leave (as many of my friends have done). It's what works for you. It would be nice to see you back down the road, but if that's not to be, I'm honored to have been part of this. ♥
