I got a new tattoo this Saturday. Behold the glorious technicolour Chinese phoenix (鳳凰)
I love him so much. I thought he turned out so well that I had to name him, and I named him after my artist, who also did the wings on my ankles, and the kanji on my side.
This is about 3 hours after finishing him. There's still some residual ink, and the skin is still a little red, but the colours are more true than the pic taken directly after the session.
It took a little less than 3 hours.
