WOW i had never heard of such things! (havent taken world civ yet ^^;;) thats really interesting though. thanks for informing us! but-this is probably a stupid question;everyone seems to know except me. why tdo the japanese and koreans dislike each other so much?

Most of the emnity between Japan and both China and Korea originates from the actions of Imperial Japan in the late 20th century--colonization, war atrocities, plundering countries to a further extent and for longer than Nazi Germany did, all the things that are usually summed up as the "Asian Holocaust" with Japan as the primary victimizer. If you've read anything about the Rape of Nanking, it was actions like that which have perpetuated this (arguably justified) negativity between Korea, China, and Japan. As a matter of fact, Axis Powers located on the European continent killed around 6 million Jews and 19 million Soviets during WWII; on the other hand, the Japanese killed around 30 million people of various Asian ethnicities and around 23 million of them were Chinese

Wow, thank you so much for all the info & translation! So Miyavi is questioning the origins of his ancient ancestors' DNA? When I first read it I thought he was denying his own current DNA, implying that he wishes he could be different. We love you the way you are, Miyavi!! (sorry if this doesn't make much sense..)

No, I didn't mean to imply that. All the stuff about ancestral ties is an issue that I was led to when I was reading up on DNA theory on my own. I have no idea what specific things Miyavi is reading. ^^;; I assume it's just the usual spate of conservative "scientific" evidence--I've never bought any of it, but that's just me.

wow. Well, here's proof for all those that think Miyavi has nothing but whistling through his ears and elevator music in his head. hahaha. He's actually interested in things in the world and stuff. <3 thanks for all this Kitana-sama!!

Lol, he does seem to have elevator music in his head, but I knew he was more intelligent than that. He wanted to be a doctor. And he appears to have ADHD, not 100% sure yet, but people with ADHD tend to be pretty intelligant.

Interestingly, when I was looking at Shou's entry when 絕景色 first came out when he's talking about the tracks, and actually when he was writing for 絕景色, he became interested in all that himself, hence the song "Q." which was loosely inspired by everything he was reading.

Nice to see these guys taking an interest. I wonder if it was any contact with Shou that inspired Miyavi to start looking into all of that?

I always wonder about how close the PSC guys are in general. Or, I guess with all that controversy about Miyavi's huge journal entry from way back, how close PSC is in general (enough that Miyavi could be accused of schtupping the President?). I feel like that's a uniquely Japanese problem though. Who accuses, say, Ashanti of diddling Irv Gotti just because he runs Murder Inc.? It could be, of course, that since the President is a woman running a successful record company of mostly men, she has to be diddling one of them of course *scoff*

Well, from my sources, they're fairly close in that they'll occasionally be seen in bars together and the like. Not often - and Miyavi is slightly more on the outside as a solo artist and as the newest member of the PSC family than the others, but they are pretty close.

I mean I'll find out for sure soon, but from what I hear now, which is more second person than first, they do sometimes hang out, and like they all have each other's phone numbers and call each other and the like.
