I so want that one. It's my favorite Sheryl costume (but I'm happy to have at least one of her). It looks really great on you. It's not that known here because it's from the movie.
If you do it at Comiket, it means I need to bring my Alto costume (& find a wig).
I kind of wanted to cosplay Sheryl because now if you want we can make a double cosplay with your Alto, that would be great.
I think because the movie is more recent than the TV show they only had her newer costumes? I didn't recognize all of them ,so they have to be from the movies, not the TV series.
There are a lot of cheap wigs here if you don't mind styling it yourself. Mine is PER-FECT and I mean it, I can comb it and the curls just fall back into place. The pink is subtle but visible. And it only cost me 2000Yen.
I can also bring my Sheryl cosplay and decide what to do there. Maybe I should wait to be back in Japan to buy my new wig. I don't mind styling it myself as for the one I use right now I even had to dye it (the reason why the color is so off).
But whatever we decide it'll be so much fun.
It's pretty hard to find the right wig for Sheryl as her hair isn't one color. Lucky you to find such a good one for so cheap.
Or you can buy a new Sheryl cosplay here ^^ There ranging from 2999Y to 4500Y and they have all sizes (at least where I bought mine). The same store had a lot of wigs from 1500Y onwards, so we have to check it out (and you might get some pre-sale/New Year sales as well, as those things will be starting all over the place in December I heard).
It's pretty hard to find the right wig for Sheryl as her hair isn't one color. This is why I was never really impressed by Sheryl wigs. They're either too pink or too blonde, or you have to dye it yourself which is difficult.
I will, and will post more cosplay pictures as well.
Waaait, what, where did you get that wonderful wig? Mapple store? The ones I keep on finding for my Akemi Homura are just wrong... and expensive too! It makes me so sad.
Pssst, Bodyline in Harajuku is the secret tip. Almost no cosplayers go there because it's a lolita store but they have a back store with cosplay. A small choice albeit, but plenty of series (Tohou, Black Butler, Hetalia, Vocaloid, etc.) The wigs are cheap (+/- 3000Y). The day I went they were having a special sale and I got 500Y off my wig ^^
The wig stores in Ikebukuro and Nakano are crazy expensive. Let's not even mention Akiba which is kind of rip-off hell.
Here Halloween = cosplay. You don't have to dress up in a "scary" fashion, just any cosplay is fine. And this is not the States so half of the girls are not running around in slutty "sexy version of XYZ".
Right! Bodyline. That's actually right behind my place, you know? But I'm so fond of Maple Wigs and the like I had not even considered it. But it's a great idea - I'll check it out again once I muster the courage to face off the hordes of teenagers down the area, that is =P
Ah, I see. I thought you meant cosplay-specific parties like yesterday's Tokyo Decadance -def. not recommending it, though- and was all fired up. And- hah! I think I rather like this version a bit better ;)
I've been to summer school in Harajuku for one month, so I know the place inside out. Bodyline has to be my favorite place for cheap cosplay.
The Halloween parties are flourishing since last week. I'd rather go to those, they're a lot less "extreme" than the ones in the US. There are some nice cosplay events too though. In summer there were meet-ups in parks etc. Most people just exchange cosplay tipps and take pictures. It's very small and convivial, no pressure or b!tch-fights like at some big conventions x_X

Well she'll be renting an episode every week, so that's 3 more weeks to look forward too. And MAITI SAW after that, of course.
