I have no idea about any of these, but #14 reminds me of song about a soldier (a knight I think) that road up a hill after two societies had killed each other. The one city had a precious treasure under a stone and the other wanted it. So a war was fought to get that great treasure. The last soldier stumbles up the hill and finds that the prize that so many died to possess was "peace" written on the stone.
I have only ever seen it once in a song book in middle school and heard it played once on the radio.
That's "One Tin Soldier" - it starts "Listen children to a story that was written long ago," and, amusingly, ended up on my version of this meme when I did it. :) :)
