Neat. Really neat!

Thank you!

Between you and me, I always gathered Voldermort kept his profile low from the muggle world because he was aware what an atomic bomb was and so far, we don't know if the wizards can really have spells as complex to stop that (it is curious how their attacks to muggles were to civilians, very 'small' while focusing in the wizardry world). I wagered he understood muggles had evoled a lot from Middle Ages and wasn't wise to cross them fully (even if he hated them).

Glad you liked it. ^^

A-bombs are PWNAGE. I think timelines set Tom around Hogwarts years during Grindelwald's time (1945), so you're right, he probably carries around deep impressions of that. Good thing there's something that's stopped him from going all-out since the beginning.

I think as wizards think themselves oh so superior (because they do, even the Weasleys treat muggles like funny things) and have superior medicine, they are also arcaic and live in the past in terms of spell. Muggles have more capaticy of destruction, I haven't heard a wizard with the power of destroy the whole world life by pushing a button or even cities (they are horrofied when Peter murdered those handful people and lost a finger). They are rather clumsy with muggle techonology, barelly can domain a car.

Muggle borns are dangerous exactly for that. Best of two worlds.

That's why Voldie is focusing in the wizardry world, he is aware that a real war with the muggles isn't wise.

He'd have to deal with the Muggles eventually, and if he won, what then? I'm not sure Voldemort knows what he's after, really. He's using the "purity of blood" banner to attract powerful, wealthy followers like Lucius, but I doubt that he really cares about erasing Muggles from the face of the earth. If anything, he might want to keep them around as slave labor.

Sure, he says his main goal is immortality, but I mean, what is he going to do once he's conquered the whole world and gained eternal life? Sit around and host orgies? Seems rather anticlimactic to me.
